Dear Friends :
I have retired now ,but I will be trying to write a modern day book about the automobile business & Mr. Tucker. My life was, working in a auto factory for 41 yrs. Years working in the factory took it's toll on my health. NOW the ghost of Tucker is getting back at the big three in the form of the foreign auto companies. They are getting their due ,,,,,totally amazing right????? luckyray (aka-- chickenman)

Not unlike Deming's stance on quality, the Japanese really embraced Tucker's committment to safety. So it's no surprise there are two Tuckers in Japan today.

My Friend:
Demming was very big on team concept also. With everybody working together. It's too bad ,that I couldn't have a joint partner on my book as I feel it will be good if I take my time.
Please tell me about (2) Tuckers in Japan.
Thank You,
luckyray

It surprises me about how the Japanese are committed to safety and take ownership of a Tucker car since it was the Germans (Mercedes) who had crumple zones first, in their finback sedans back in the late 50s. Why didn't Daimler acquire a Tucker?
